In this role, you’ll design and develop engaging learning experiences across multiple formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual learning, microlearning, and performance support resources. You’ll also play an important role in developing organizational procedures and job aids, administering learning content within our Learning Management System (LMS), and partnering with subject matter experts across the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking complex information and turning it into clear, practical, and engaging resources employees can use. Create clear, consistent, and user-friendly procedures that reflect current processes, policies, systems, and regulatory requirements. Develop job aids, quick reference guides, process maps, and other performance support resources. Identify opportunities to make existing procedures and documentation easier for employees to understand and use. Perform day‑to‑day administration of the Learning Management System (LMS). Create, publish, update, and maintain courses and learning content. Manage course assignments, enrollments, learner records, and catalog information. Monitor course completion and prepare routine training reports. Troubleshoot LMS issues and provide timely support to employees. Maintain accurate and current learning content and records. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, organizational training, or a related field. 1+ year of experience designing and developing instructor‑led, virtual, or eLearning solutions. Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make complex information clear and easy to understand. Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines. Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, leaders, and stakeholders. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and learn new technologies and systems. Preferred Experience Experience with Articulate Rise or similar eLearning authoring tools. Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience developing procedures, process documentation, job aids, or other performance support resources. Experience working within a financial institution or other regulated industry. Professional training or certification in instructional design, learning and development, eLearning development, or learning technologies. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Why This Role? The Learning Experience Designer has the opportunity to influence how employees across TLC Community Credit Union learn, develop, and perform.
