Build a Precision Manufacturing Career as a   Precision Grinding Machine Operator in Concord Township, Ohio:

Bring your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship to CITCO Tools, a division of Fives Landis Corp. As a Precision Grinding Machine Operator, you will help produce high-precision tooling used by leading Automotive, Medical, and Aerospace manufacturers. This is a stable, hands-on opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with machinery, solving practical challenges, and seeing the direct results of their skill. Both experienced machinists and motivated manufacturing professionals who are ready to learn are encouraged to apply.

Schedule and Career Advantages:

• This full-time, in-person role is based in Concord Township, Ohio, conveniently located near Route 44 and Route 90.
• Choose from first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or second shift, Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to midnight.
• Second-shift employees receive a $2.00 per hour shift differential, with overtime opportunities available.

What You Will Do:

• Set up and operate manual grinding equipment to grind and finish precision tooling components to exact specifications.
• Read work instructions, dimensions, and tolerances while applying strong shop math and a quality-first mindset.
• Inspect finished components using optical comparators, gauges, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
• Identify, communicate, and help correct quality concerns before parts move to the next manufacturing operation.
• Maintain an organized, safe work area while contributing to a collaborative, safety-focused production team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing, machine operation, machining, or related hands-on experience.
• You bring mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in precision work, manual machining, or surface grinding.
• You can accurately use precision measuring tools and understand dimensions, tolerances, and basic shop math.
• You are detail-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and committed to producing quality work every day.
• You are willing to learn CITCO’s specialized grinding processes and follow established safety and quality procedures.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with manual lathes, milling machines, manual machining, or grinding will help you ramp up quickly.
